The Big Mo (Classic Mojito)
The Big Mo Ah, the end of summer (well, at least here in Texas).  Toast it farewell with this classic Cuban drink.
Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz Cuban light rum
  • Handful of fresh mint sprigs
  • Dash of Gomme Syrup (A type of syrup used to sweeten cocktails. Also called sirop de gomme.)
  • 1/2 lime (medium)
  • Soda water
Cooking Instructions
  • Muddle the mint, sugar and rum together in a tall glass.
  • Squeeze the lime into the mix and drop the lime hulls into as well. They will release their essential oils into the drink adding to the flavor (also it looks really cool).
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice, top with soda water and stir.
Comments Toast high and drink fast.
