Don't Let Your Meatloaf
Don't Let Your Meatloaf All jokes aside, meatloaf recipes have become a part of our culture.  As versatile, diverse and unique as families themselves - each recipe is more than the basic ingredients.  Each meatloaf recipe has your personal history, your families culture and the story of you blended in.

  • 1.5 lbs of ground Chuck
  • 1.5 lbs of ground Pork
  • 1 lbs of ground veal (optional). If you use all 3 types of meats, add 1 extra egg.

  • 1/2 cup of applesauce

  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of thick barbeque sauce (Note: You can substitute the barbeque sauce with Pickapeppa Sauce.)
Cooking Instructions
  • Mix all ingredients except the barbeque sauce.
  • Shape into a loaf and place into a glass baking dish.
  • Pat the top of the loaf to flatten.
  • Pour the barbeque sauce over the top and bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour.
  • Let the meat "loaf" (rest) for about 15 minutes before cutting.
