The ingredients are deceptively simple. Mostly common
items with the exception of the baguette. You can vary the ingredients to suit your
tastes, but it does get tricky. |

- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup sugar
- 7 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions |
- Bring heavy cream and half-and-half to a boil.
- Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add the boiled creams,
whipping constantly. Add white chocolate and whip until the mixture is smooth.
- Butter a 9-inch by 12-inch Pyrex dish and line with sliced bread. Pour
mixture over bread to cover. Wait a few minutes for bread to absorb mixture. Add more to
cover and put the dish on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 10.
