White Chocolate Bread Pudding
White Chocolate Bread Pudding The ingredients are deceptively simple. Mostly common items with the exception of the baguette. You can vary the ingredients to suit your tastes, but it does get tricky.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 pound white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 baguette, sliced thin
Cooking Instructions
  • Bring heavy cream and half-and-half to a boil.
  • Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Slowly add the boiled creams, whipping constantly. Add white chocolate and whip until the mixture is smooth.
  • Butter a 9-inch by 12-inch Pyrex dish and line with sliced bread. Pour mixture over bread to cover. Wait a few minutes for bread to absorb mixture. Add more to cover and put the dish on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serves 10.
